Thread: Classic (70's / 80's) rifles- scope or irons?

    As me lamps aren't so good these days, I put scopes on any rifle that will taked them (Apart from the spot welded Webley scope ramps!) as I can't seem to focus on the sights and the target with iron sights very well

    You and me both John.

    I now use varifocals when shooting with iron sights which are better but not as good as your Mk. 1 (young) eyeball !

    How've you been keeping John??

    Not seen much of you recently!!

    Ordinarily, When I look through a scope, I have to look over the top of my specs but the little Simmons 1.5-5x scope that was on the XS78 rifle off Les, I can look through my glasses and see everything perfectly clearly!!
