I have shot the basic Umarex non blowback one.
    It's good and powerful.

I have the KWC model which is fine and blowback but less powerful.

I have the WW11 Umarex one which doesn't work very well although it seems to be a roughed up version of the KWC.
It struggles to blowback and you don't get many shots.
It was a bit better after I lubed the shuttle etc and it may wear in.

If there is another model I can't help.

I'm not a Luger fan and recall that TV show where a Luger fan and an ex US Marine using a 1911 did a trench warfare course competition.
The Luger was properly humiliated and the fan upset.

I remember that, I think it was one of the Will Willis shows, but I can't remember the name of it here for the life of me.
I think in the US it was called 'Triggers; weapons that changed the world'.
I seem to remember that the Luger was the more accurate for precision shooting - but the 1911 was the better combat tool.
But, then it was an American show and dissing the 1911 is similar to slagging off Debbe Reynolds

What I clearly remember was the Luger missing some pretty easy targets in the trench.

I agree about veneration of the 1911

In another episode he took on a mate with a Beretta 92.
The Beretta won right up to the last target which it could not knock down.
Our Hero caught up and the .45 ACP did what it does.

You might well be right, it was a while ago..can you remember what it was called...was it weapons that changed the world without the trigger part?

    That's the one.
He usually ends with a running shoot with guns laid out on tables.
Oldest ones first ending up with your moderns.
