    Tx200 valuation?

    Hi folks
A friend of mine is considering selling the above rifle.
    It's a Tx200 mk3 full length. 177 with beech stock.
Its in lovely condition and is in standard tune.
I did have a look in the archive, but a lot of the Tx's have been modified.
    Any idea of value??.
Any info would be much appreciated.

I am not 100% sure if its beech or walnut.

If it's as you describe then I'd say minimum of £300, you could push for a bit more, but the going rate for rifle only is around this price.

I'd certainly take the 'risk' and give you that for it Les

I think £300 is about there in this financial climate.

I paid £350 for one after Christmas , came with a good padded slip , pellets and a IR AO scope, seems from what I've seen lately there is a lot of bias towards the .177 being more sort after rather than .22, all my rifles are .177 so don't have to keep buying different pellets, also seen several cheaper than that as well, also seen some extra silly prices as well, some with only minor type scopes on them priced at over £500 . Don't think they'll get that for it

Yep, I'd have guessed around the £270 mark.

You could put it up for £300 or a little more and let the market find its own level.
I sold a short stroked l/h walnut hc in .177 with a Rowan adjustable butt pad earlier this year for a little less.
A couple of years ago I paid £320 for it with a scope that I sold on for £90 so I reckon after buying the s/s kit and the adjustable butt pad I did ok considering the enjoyment I got from it.
