I had a Diana 54 AirKing in .22.
I thought it very heavy and not as well balanced as my old Airsporter or the newer Prosport.
The semi-recoiless action worked well.
The gun has a massive chamber and is really designed for FAC level rather than 12ft lbs. I did toy at the time about getting it uprated to FAC but ended up with an Eliminator instead which I found equally unusable.
If confined to 12ft lb then I would recommend .177 rather than .22 but I would say that about any air rifle after being for years a .22 fan.
Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. Winston Churchill
Yeah, on examination, I'd go along with that !
Its a big old hefty beast which would take an FAC upgrade pretty well !
I'm "On ticket" with other stuff and I frequently think about getting a variation for an "Air slot" and upgrading my 80 .22.
Obviously, this Airking can stand alongside the HW 80 in the queue if I ever go go down that route !
Ta !

Blackrider, did you get a chance to mention the broken T06 trigger part that is of concern at the DIana stand while you were at the BS Show?
Good deals with these members
Apart from the Airking, RS had a good few Diana's displayed on the stand yesterday.
If there is some sort of an issue importing the brand into the UK, Ronnie isn't suffering from it !
There was a 52 and the two newish big air rifles, the 470TH and the 56TH side lever as well as several other springers.
Their prices were very good !
