We would have to see a photo, but to me sounds a bit steep.
1907-08 model in .177 good condition, I'm looking at buying one offered for £300 is that about right?
Also does anyone know what power should it be running at, this one is doing 7.5 ft/lbs?
thanks in advance,
Ed

For £300 it should be a pretty good one IMO Ed - ie. not worn and nice and tight. The power sounds a bit low, which could mean it has been well used.
See Lakey's excellent guide to buying old BSAs for tips.

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.
It would have to be in very good condition for that sought of money for me, with quite a bit of blue remaining and the stock also in very good nick. unless it's a .25 then snatch their hand off
Many thanks for the replies, I've decided to give it a miss
cheers
