I have a 77K with a serial number of 1003*** ( cannot remember the rest off top of my head) looking at the website looks like a 1984? is that right?

I have an old 1984 Beeman catalog and it says" the new 77". Wasn't even a 97 for some time.

Hi,
Looking to buy my son his first air rifle will be 16 soon! HW77 is on the list, just curious if there is a way to attach a better looking moderator than the official one from Weihrauch which looks to stubby and I also know he wants a scope so want to remove the open sights?
