Generally, it's a good idea to try a number of different brands of pellet. What works well in one is lousy in another. Why did you change from AA? How many other types have you tried? Once you find the brand that work in your gun, you're sorted.
i am getting mixed results with lazapells. i get a couple of pellets that group to 1/2 inch then they fly to over an inch. I have always used Air arms field but just changed to lazapells.
Is it my S400 or the pellets? Has anyone else had this problem.

Agree with the last post, try a range and see what suits. However, knowing a number of S400/310/310/200 owners, they all end up using Air Arms one, or JSPs (identical but better made and cheaper ).
Accupels don't seem to suit this rifle. Did my Raider though.
Yep.... AA Fields or JSBs. I haven't seen an S400 that doesn't like 'em.

I have a S400K .22 that will only group using AA Field and a S310C .177 that hates everything except Accupells ans Bisley Magnums. Try as many different pellets as you can before you settle with one particular brand.
thanks guys
back to the AA FIELDS it is then.
New user of S410K. Unhappy with Storm pellets (they dont fit the mag very well). Interested in this thread but please excuse my ignorance, what are JSBs?
JSB are a pellet manefacturer who produce pellets for the likes of Air Arms (AA fields), Daystate, Webley (Lazadomes, I think) and their own JSB Exacts. Well liked and, by all accounts, quite good.

Thanks for your help , I'll give them a try
