No -but try getting back to Bournemouth on a Friday afternoon before a sunny Bank Holiday / Half term weekend.

That's where Young Binners has been clever.
Nothing else happening on 25 June?

    Phoenix

Patrick I can see no better reason than the expected traffic to explain your
having to stay over Friday night than the avoidance of the expected traffic. I hope you make it especially as I have lots of "sharp" things for you to look at!!!

Still working on a Saturday visit.
If not I have an Agent who might look for me.
    He's not a Secret Agent!

Patrick. Check out the floor plan for the Phoenix on the NRA site, I didn't recognise any of the regular airgun traders.

    I'll still be there though.

Unfortunately its the knives UK show that day, which I will be sorry to miss as its pretty much the only show in the country for knife makers.

I think the guy who arranges it is based in Cornwall, so for him Gloucestershire is practically the far north !

I went last year, with some trepidation as I didn't quite know what to expect, but it was all very normal if you know what I mean. Good for stocking up on woods and the like, and I got a very nice barrel knife

Anyway I'll have to miss it this year because the Kempton Park fair is looking good.

    Mikes Knives organises.

Dealers makers and collectors of Custom Knives are some of the nicest people I've met.

Given the Kitchen knife climate in our Cities we are lucky to have some World Class makers in the U.K.

The Wilderness Gathering in August is also a revelation for those who think the outdoor life is on the wane.
    West Knoyle Wiltshire.
Get your Bushcraft knife,a Bison Burger, throw an axe, make and shoot a bow, pay £30 to get kit to light a fire (saves buying matches!)

Good day out as family stuff too.

    Not at all Patrick,

The organiser of the blade show, was most disappointed to find out that we were on the same day, not just that some of our traders are knife and bayonet men, but would he have had 2 or 3 tables himself.

Timing these events around the established ones is very difficult, just when you think you have a clear day,you find the venue is already booked. I knew that a fair was on in the Liverpool area the same day as us and assumed the distance would not hinder either, then 2 traders that were at Liverpool booked tables at K P
