Mixing Vintage and modern? Scout Scoped Crosman 102

Not sure, how I feel about this yet, but the experiment cost me $10, for the intermount. Had a Leupold M8 2X pistol scope I bought years ago for more money than the 102. Lol. Thought the extended relief of the pistol scope would be too much but it's pretty forgiving. Though the peep sight is very workable with my old eyes the scope may give me a better idea of how accurate the gun really is. Waiting for a nice day to try it out, but that may take a while, winter still has a hold here.

Looks like it might be a good idea. Can't recall another exactly like this, although there have been a lot of scope adaptions to the 101 not too many have taken on the 102 which is a more difficult proposition with the mag tub being in the way. Of course here in the US, the 101 is so common it's the nature choice for shooters over the repeater.

Actually a pretty typical location for a scout scope. Popularized in US for its versitility and quick acquisition of targets.

I think a Zf-41 would look great on top of a Crosman 102. Vintage meets vintage.

Totally agree, shows you there is rarely a new idea under the sun.

These are available on the bay for $1000! Little more than my $10 experiment!
