    Guns that make you happy

So today I bought one of those very convincing 1911 replica pistols (it's a Remington 1911 RAC if you're interested).

Now, I'm not really into BB guns (although it does smack down Coke cans very amusingly) but I'm a major 1911 fan.

Mind, I've never owned one (girls and buying houses got in the way) but I'd have one now if we were still allowed.

It reminds me of my school days (yes I went to one of those schools). OK, we had the Browning 9mm version, but this is so close to the real thing that I can't put it down.

They really are superb. (Must get rid of that crappy lettering off the side though!)

    What's your happy gun?

The 1911 Tanfoglio never made me happy, I kept running out of gas too quickly, it was delirious whilst I still had CO2 though.

22 bbs can be shot very very quickly.

Tanfoglio Witness 1911. I've probably only ever put 100 BBs through it, but I'm constantly toying with the thing
And the Skan mini M32. It's just a superb, petite, fugly but functional little rifle. So glad I bought it when I had the chance.

It can be any gun - but BB guns can be a lot of fun!

I got a Remington rider a week or so back, theoretically its a Section 1 black powder pistol but in reality its a tiny fun plinker with the same power as a BB gun. It goes "Pop!" With a flash of flame and the cans go flying. Makes me smile lots!

    Guns

Any old ones with long barrels that go with a great bang.
Just bought a 1920s 410 which weighs in at 4lb. Three inch chambers and kicks like a donkey with mag 3inch carts. Lovely.
When I die don't let my wife sell my guns for what she thinks I gave for them!!!
