    Birmingham webley & scott tomahawk

Hi i Have just picked up the above rifle which looks like it's a walnut stock, ie From trigger back to but pad there is quite a lot of grain showing but not much or very little on the front end of the stock , Can view my photo bucket pics but for some reason I can't upload pics at the moment, Anyway the gun has a red sort of but pad like on my stingray express and it's screw threaded which looks like it's been done from new, Was there any models of the above gun screw threaded or are all longbows screw threaded, There is a silencer on it which is about 8" long and very heavy, The gun is also very heavy , I would say the weight of my 97 or even a bit more, There is a sling and a smallish scope on it but would not count for the extra weight. It just don't look standard.

    They were all screw threaded.

Early ones had a 15" Webley barrel. Later ones a 13" Lothar Walther one (shared with the Longbow).

Beech stocks have no chequering. Walnut have chequered panels on the grip.

Thanks for the reply, It has no chequered panels on it, Must be beech which would account for the extra weight, Got quite a bit of grain on it though , It's a 13" barrel and in 22cal.
