But mate's is a proper barrel marked up with a .25 stamp .

Of course, some big dealers did special order non-standard calibres, like MAG's .25" BSA Cobra Strike Magnum (sounds like a really bad 80s action movie).

Would love to learn more.

A 'Harley' is not a real motorcycle. They were intended for agricultural use, pulling ploughs and such like. When they're not broken down, that is...

Could they be made for export market and it hasnt been reported in the U.K.? Was the .25 stingray made for U.K. as a few USA forums have reports of them. Then there's talk on one forum of a .25 Vulcan but he does not own it, said he shot it.

It was a long time ago, but Venom made me a block and barrel for my Vulcan in .25.
The barrel threads into the block and a grub screw keeps it tight (or is supposed to ).
As a last resort, you could try them, but a 2nd hand barrel / rifle might be the best option.
