    best break barrel

hi room , i fancy a good new springer , but not to heavy [have a weak shoulder after a bike accident ]so that rules out most underleavers for standing shots ,and under £200 the closer to £150 the better so any suggestions or comments good or bad on any rifle most welcome

    Hi!
I might suggest that you buy a BSA Lightning XL.....
Lightweight, accurate, excellent trigger and so on....
I´ve had mine for a couple of months and I must say that I´m pleased.
no problem shooting crows with headshots at 50 yards ..
    2 x Rapids
    FX
    AA etc..

You can consistently hit less than 1" at 50yds in wind with a Lightning?

    I am severely impressed.

Are you a world FT champion? You ought to be!

    BSA LightningXL

    HW95

FWB Sport - my preferred choice.

The lightning feels (to me) the lightest of the 3 (regardless of what it says on paper.
I play a Fender bass, I shoot a springer. I like things to be, well, dependable

It seems that way.. In fact it is not 50 yards, it´s more exactly 52 meters when I do the longest shots.. ( and I would´nt try thoose shots in windy conditions )
And I´m not the world champion.. Just a regular airgunhunter ( swedish that is.. ; )

52 meters? thats..56 yards. a reduced kill 25mm circle consistently at 56 yards? WOW! who needs a full blown FT rig. Just buy a Lightning.

Remember he's in Sweden, it might be doing a bit more that 12 ft/lbs.
    Still very impressive shooting mind.

The lightning is capable of approximately 14 ft/lb in fac form and becomes extremely lively when tuned to this limit, making such a shot even harder......and more impressive!

Ah, but no one said anything about the custom built sledge mechanism and the bench vices involved. Or the stuffed crow placed in a very large hermetically sealed building

the webley xocet would suit your needs, reasonably light, accurate, better trigger than the lightning imo. will hit big headed swedish crows just as well
