    reticule changes

    Afternoon all,

been having a muse this afternoon! is it possible to have a different reticule fitted to your scope? And by this i would like my WTC to have say a vortex dead hold BDC style ret. Any companies offer this service at a reasonable price? Or is it as i imagine a non starter/cost prohibitive.

    Kind regards

Why don't you just buy a vortex Diamondback? There isnt much difference in price??

I may just do that, but as per my question is it a non starter or does anyone offer this service?

I believe Paul Burke (i think his name is) can do it
    Tel: 0121 788 1050
As i had a chat with him a while back asking about re-px of a s&b scope, I'm sure i asked him about different reticles and i think he can do it. I'm not entirely sure it's worth it on a sub £150 scope though i think it was about £80 (i may be mistaken it was a long time ago) to get the scope serviced/cleaned re px and re charged with nitrogen.
Give him a call he's a nice chap and happy to help on the phone.

Great, and don't forget to give us an update on what he says.. I'd be interested in if he is still current and what his costs are like. I have a meopta that needs a service
    Cheers

It will depend upon the ret whether basic or more complex and whether on negative or glass, cost will substantially rise.
22 years ago on glass £180, delivery, send for fitting by distributor, return post came in £289.

Think Blucky was £60 for ret on a negative, all in around £110 from memory, £180 on poor glass.

March adds £250 -£300 for a complex ret when buying over basic. Basic ret (1/8" dot for a Diplex) basic ret close on £400 4 yrs ago inc export and re import licences etc.
