I have just rebuilt a 1947 Cadet for a guy. It was in very bad shape, made a urethane piston seal, fitted new spring, even replaced the main cylinder with one of my spares. This is where the problem came in, the angle of the front two stock screws is totally different so I could not use his old stock. I have never noticed this difference before, has anyone any info when these changes took place in the design ?
