Looking for a piccy of the leather washer end of the pistonfor pre war BSA underlever
it's actually for an "L". The leather is a bit "gooey", so I think I might need to make or buy a replacement. But any tips on cleaing it out (i'm thinking isi alchohol or white spirit) welcome - but I'm worried that it'll just crumble.
I'm looking for a piccy of the business end of the piston, showing the mounting, profile, etc. I'm not sure mine is an original mounting. I might just stick an o-ring nose in there, or a Diana 28mm parachute seal, and sleeve the TP down. But I'd like an original option too before you all try to burn me at the stake...
Thanks in advance,
JB
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
