    Theoben spring or Gas ram sirocco

    Been offered a sirocco converted to spring tuned and all the bollocks
    is it worth more or less than original.
    It comes with Ram + bits
    Worth?

    Less, much less, a Theoben rammer is a lovely gun to fire. Would you pay top whack for a BMW with a Peugeot engine?

    .22 theoben rapid mk1 custom thunbhole stock dr bobs quick fill and gage

    Probably less, unless it shoots brilliantly and someone tries it and really wants it.

    Could be wrong, though.

    I'd buy it, spring or ram should make no difference if the conversion's been done properly, as you say it's been toon'd so should shoot well and you'll get all the ram bits to convert it back if need be as long as the spring conversion 'however it's been done' doesn't damage the inside of the piston that is...

    I know the purists on here will harp on about how theobens should only be rammers (or PCP of course) 'pahh' I've owned both toon'd springer and theoben rammer and the toon'd springer shot sweetest...

    Still a nice rifle, even without the ram...😉

    Have to agree, I converted an Evo many years ago to spring and wish I'd still got it

    It shot lovely and also gave me piece of mind the scope and my fillings were going to survive

    shoot just as good with a titan spring and no leaks to worry about

    converted mine to Spring years ago shoots smoothly now at 11.5 with the ram in it was a bag of shite at anything over 8 ft lbs
    Its a Countryman carbine
