custom pellet

Hi, apologies if this has been asked before, I've had a look and could not find anything. The question, has anyone cast their own pellets? The reason I ask is that with 20 foot pound plus springers around you can, in theory, push a heavy, non-waisted, 177 pellet at a good velocity and have much better down range ballistics. Sure, current waisted pellets are good, but by reducing the waisting, pellet drag can be markedly reduced which will pay dividends with retained velocity. So, has anyone cast there own reduced waist pellets? If yes, can they relate their experiences. Regards mark

Rabbit magnums are good pellets , I assume you are in New Zealand so no power limit on springers but fire arms certificate required for PCP air guns ? be good sport possum hunting with a springer
