    Generally I'd suggest that ANY airgun out of production is potentially collectable.
    Quite a lot of people collect to a theme and it could be by manufacturer, by a period, by country, by style or just a collection of guns they wanted, but couldn't afford at the time.
    Even some current guns are collectable, for example the Umarex SAA's and Legends series of guns.

    Thanks for your reply yes I see now I was thinking prota or quirky air rifles like this new Gamo 10 shot Brake Barrel.

    If in a few years the Gamo becomes a example of a daft idea that never caught on and they regularly broke in use AND you have a boxed minter, never been fired in your collection....Hell, it could worth a tenner more than you paid for it!

    Great I've got one of those.
    And a Beeman Dual (2 barrels that go off together)
    They make these oddities for me.

    They laughed at me when I bought them.
    But in a few years.......
