    Bushnell Legend Ultra HD scopes

The older Legends with the front focusing ring were sometimes a problem on air rifles because they had so little adjustment on the turrets.

My 5-15x40ao had so little I had to buy adjustable mounts.

Do the Legend Ultra HD scopes suffer from the same limited adjustment? Do they have those same cheap plastic adjustment levers on the turrets that crack between the two screws very easily?

    I'd appreciate any advice.

I've had mine (the 4.5-14 model) for nearly 2 years and never had a problem. I highly rate it. Turrets are robust too IMO

    Thanks for the reply.

I was wondering if somebody could tell me how many complete revolutions on the turrets the Ultra HDs will give.

I have five "old" Legends and I dont think I've ever had that problem Arthur. To be honest, I've never counted the click-stops on those scopes either !

I dont have the HD version so I can't comment in respect of that scope.

I'd try winding the windage over to the left to the end of the run then count each click winding back to the right until its reaches the end. Once done, half that number and wind back to the centre so in theory(and practise) you are at the middle of the windage range.
Re Zero your rifle from that point !
    Thats what I'd do !

I have the 3-9x40 HD version, not mounted it yet, but looks good quality.

I've had my 4.5-14x44 for almost three years and my only complaint is that the mil-dots are true at 14.4x and there are no half mil-dot markers - the gap between the dots is huge for .177 and 10x mag.

I couldn't get on with the 5-15x40 but we sold so many of them I'm pretty sure it was just me. I've certainly seen a few where the adjusters have broken and I remember Edgars sending us a batch of replacements.
