    Diana 66 power

Hi all. I chrono'd my 66 last week and got around 3.5 ft-lb. This weekend it had brand new seals and springs so I was expecting to get it back up to standard power (5 to 5.5 ish).

    Pellet test today:
    Gecos - 7.0gr - 460 fps - 3.3 ft-lb
    Bisley Practise - 8.3gr - 440 fps - 3.6 ft-lb
    AA Field - 8.44gr - 490 fps - 4.5 ft-lb

I didn't attempt to size the seals, so is it just a case of letting them bed in a bit?
Any guesses as to what the issue could be? I'm only looking for 550 ish fps

(My 300s makes 7 ft-lb with the same pellets listed above, and the difference is noticeable)

    Thanks
    Dan

how tight are the pistons to slide in the tube ?
Also is the breech seal OK ?
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Pistons weren't too tight to slide in which is why I didn't bother to try sizing them. They didn't fall in under their own weight, but weren't hard to push in

Breech seal is new. I've tried two and no difference between them

    Hi,
I have a 60. Same internals I understand. Replaced springs and all seals last year. I get 525 fps with 7.26 grain Webley Velocipell 0.177s.
    Equates to 4.44 ftlbs.
Not powerful but great accuracy and lovely gun. Very much enjoy the target aperture sights as well.

    Steve
