Have been experimenting with my Haenel 28-R. Given the repeating mechanism has four leather sealing points besides the piston head, I wonder if the Repeater is at a disadvantage for power. My highest has been 328 fps with a 7.4 grain pellet. Been averaging above 300. Curious if straight 28's top this?

As a side note to Repeater owners, I found that a Crosman Competition Wadcutter pellet cycles the .177 gun very well, irony it is one of the cheapest pellets out there. I am still stuck on the 22 Repeater, only pellets that have worked are round balls, and a 1950s era Milbro Caledonia Slug. The new Milbros are different pellets. I have just about exhausted my ideas on a skirted pellet for the 22. Seems all modern 22 pellets I have seen and tried are too long.
