    Mark, I spoke to Colin at the weekend, he had a non original piston in there that was longer than standard. Its all sorted now!

    Silly point which I'm saying as a just in case...

    If you took the trigger unit out, when you reassembled I assume you put it back in place "cocked"?

    (I'm assuming the Rekord trigger assembly is the same as a HW77 here - you need to put engage the sear before reassembling otherwise it doesnt cock).

    Yes, and thats the first question I ask when a customer says the gun won't cock.

    After that its "Did you read the instructions?" which is invariable followed by a few seconds of silence and then "No, didn't read 'structions."

    I would have surprised me if you hadn't of asked it!

    It was the second thing I noted about removing/replacing a Rekord trigger. The first being "Tape down the safety catch" !!

    In cases like this I always try it without the main spring.
