Webley MK1 slant grip valuation please

    Guys

Helping a friend build his shotgun fund so looking for a value for the above. Blued steel slant grip mk1 .22 pistol. It has had new wooden grips made as the bakerlite perished but these have been well done. It does have pitting which I think could be sorted with a rub down. Gun cocks and fires but could no doubt do with a reseal. The pistol has 913 as the batch number

I do have pics i can email.

    Pete.

Hi if you could put some photos up it would help to give a good idear as to the condition with the pitting, and what the grips look like.

Batch number (rather than serial) means it's post-war.

Average post-war Mk1s go for around £50-75, in my limited experience. The replacement grips, even if really nice, would be a turn-off for many.
