I've went from a small collection of users, to a larger

collection of rifles in the last few months. So now I have a collection of users and draw Queens. Both types great to have and i extract different enjoyment from both.

If I was rich enough to own a Ferrari I would drive it. If I was mega rich enough to have a collection of Ferraris, I wouldnt drive them all, I would like a couple to stay brand new. Does this mean both sides of my brain work ?

Whatever works best for you is correct, in our hobby.

I think harvey_s has the nail centred. Social history is my interest, I couldn't put our own line of monarchs in any sort of order, but I am fascinated by the way ordinary and not so ordinary people have lived. From housing to home medicine, it all interests me.

Pristine objects are nice to look at, but I love the feel of something old and lived with.

The more people that handle my guns, the happier I am. If they pick up the odd Ding here and there I'm not concerned.
