I asked same question a while ago, I had a choice of 3:
1. Weihrauch
2. Parker Hale
3. Air Arms
I got recommended to go with the Weihrauch, and its made a massive difference, the report is very much quieter - but you get used to it.
Take it off occaisionally, and you'll appreciate it!
Its got a female thread, so you will need to get a 1/2"UNF male to 1/2"UNF male adaptor, from chambers for about £4.50.
Bought mine from BAR for £30 + a few quid delivery
its looks the biz too
