    Turret caps

Hi, anyone know of a source for replacement turret caps. I have lost one of the caps from a Simmons white tail classic it measures 23mm across the threads. Any help would be appreciated, or if you have any odd ones that size knocking arround and willing to sell let me know. Cheers Steve.

A mate gave me it its the shallow type with scalloped edges, try putting a wanted ad on here, someone bound to have a spare or knackered hawke scope.

I lost a turret cap out shooting in my woods, following day I retraced my steps in hope, half way up a hill I noticed my boot lace loose so bent down to re-tie it & bugger me there was the cap 3" from my toe

Hawke used to list replacement caps under accessories.

If you only want to make the turret water-tight and are not too worried about aesthetics buy a small amount of Polymorph plastic from the Bay and make one. Simples!

I've got an item that would do as a cover but would rather have the proper thing.

Deben will supply replacement caps for Hawke models, I've had a couple of sets from them.
Unfortunately the postage costs as much as the caps!
Best to phone them and give the specific scope model though, as there are several different diameter. As long as you have a matching pair they'll still look good.
