    Hello,

It's a final (7th) series Titan pistol which is pre-war and was made by Frank Clarke in Birmingham who later collaborated with Webley in the production of the Mk 1 air pistol in 1924.

Good examples of this pistol would usually sell for around £300-£400, but I wouldn't think the one in the advert to be worth the smallest fraction of that.

Maybe it is a genuine Tudor air pistol, as used by Henry VIII, and it just looks like a Titan. In that case it is very much undervalued at £500.

I was amused by the way he said it had an auction value of £300 so he wants £500

    Hello John,

It certainly looks like it may have been recovered from the Mary Rose, so if it could be proved to have been used by Henry, it may indeed be the almost mythical 8th series Titan.
