    my bets on pete? is it a carbine?

    Nope not me, I was at work at the time but had I of seen it first then it would have been added to the collection, even though I prefer the later versions with the enclosed front end and the shorter cocking lever, I do have to admit it looks to have a nice piece of walnut on it, which makes a change for the earlier ones.
