Sounds right, I work on a lot of very old pistols and think its a bonus if you can reach the 300 fps mark with a 7 grn pellet.

I have just checked mine using Diana Sport pellets. Average 215 fps, rising to 260 fps if I size the pellets first by pushing them through the barrel.

Pellet weight 7.7 grains

Push a bit harder and they would come out at 200fps.
