HW95, s
I injured my back lifting when I was young, it cleared up but as I got older I occasionally get a bad back this is when I turn to my detuned magnums for easy cocking and give the TXHC a rest
What is the most easy to cock carry and shoot adult springer you know of?
HW95, s
A 22mm small piston shed tuned tx200 🙄
FWB 124/127.
Below 12 ft/lbs, Walther LG53/55.
HW30s...
try a break barrel or side lever, both are kinder
BSA Supersport in 22 almost cocks itself under its own minimal weight, very easy to cock, otherwise a hw95 is easy to shoot if you normally follow the crowd.
Otherwise try something like an air arms SE90 in 22, sideways cocking action may help, and has a nice loading tap which speeds up shooting.
Avoid the current Diana side levers, very heavy.
Thanks - Geoff.
walther terrus with full length barrel and screw on muzzle stripper. My son has been able to cock it since he was 12 and it's doing 10.8fpe
Yep, I seem to remember my slabby sided Mercury in .22 was very easy cocking, Pete.
However, honestly, as can be witnessed by people who have tried it at a Bash, that CZ634 is RIDICULOUSLY easy. And super-smooth firing cycle with power aplenty. The trigger will never be top drawer, though.
And, I suppose it depends what the OP means by "adult" rifle, with RW mentioning the HW30S. Many people would say that it isn't an adult rifle, due to its low to medium power and light weight.
But lots of us adults have them and love 'em to bits. A rifle you can shoot accurately all day long and never tire of it.

NEXT EVENT :- August 3/4, 2024.........BOING!!
If your back is knackered, I'd also factor in the weight of the gun...
The 22mm conversions are really easy, but a TX or a 77/97 are not light guns
Ligh light/medium weight + light cocking:
FWB sport light and very easy.
Any of the long barreled (at least 16") HW's are OK; 99, 95, 85
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
Barry, haul your arse to the springer bash next weekend
There's a local B&B.

Not exactly light but the barrel shroud's weight makes my 98 easy enough
