    How is the barrel end with the under lever catch removed.

    trying to remember.. is it like the superstar ?

    if so, are you talking the catch in the underlever (there is a small crosspin that is pushed out), or the male retainer on the muzzle weight ?

    Hi Jon it's the male retainer on the muzzle weight I want to take off to prepare for rust bluing,thanks Stuart.

    Just unscrews IIRC, but maybe a bit of thread lock on there...

    Thanks Jon,now released after four heats(must have been the wrong loctite)thought it was never going to go.
