Has anyone got or used the new Gamo multi shot break barrel?

If so please can you share your views on it?

I would also lime to know the following......Is it accurate? Does the loading mechanism intrude on the scope view at low magnification? Does it have a hinge bolt rather than a pin?

    Cheers

I've had one for a couple of months now.
    Mines .22.
The magazine system is easy to use and works well.

The gun comes with a mount and scope.
Keep the mount and use a better scope.

There is no interference in your view.

The gun is accurate and likes Superdomes.
The main problem is noise right next to your ear but this seems to be getting less now it's wearing in.

I find it an interesting and pleasing gun to use and I now actually look at other Gamo models in our gun shops.

I don't know about the bolt.
    Will have a look.

Thanks, I look forward to hearing about the axis bolt or pin. I am becoming very interested in this rifle!

Iv had one a month or so now and after only shooting springers (iv yet to seccumb to a pcp ) had the gas ram and i love it so far, its not without its faults but no faults with the loading system even if it is abit unsightly.

Well the biggest fault for me is the barrel is quite flexible, id get it zero'ed in the garden then when i was sitting in my hide bashing squirrels it would be shooting about 3 inchs high at 20 yards, so id try to re-zero then when i got back home
it would be shooting low !!!. Took me while to realise i was resting the tip of the barrel on the hide and just the wieght of the gun was flexing the barrel up making it shoot high

Ok, but I would expect all boingers to shoot high if zeroed when held normally then shots were attempted with the barrel end supported due to altering the recoil' s behaviour. Have you tried it at home with the barrel rested?

Was zero'ed supported on the forend and it was grouping great.
If i put slight pressure on it would shoot 4 inchs higher at 20 yards but you could see the barrel flexing up, so now i just rest it on the forend lol made me wonder how much it flex's when you cock it ?
Besides that its got a lovely trigger, the gun is nice and light but does feel very long and for 260 quid with a scope you carnt expect too much i suppose plus its my first gas ram and just feels less violent than my springer.

    Gamo Whisper

I know its not the multi-shot version but it is the IGT break barrel model.

Uses superdomes to great effect, light weight, but very loud, and shook the scope off the rail! Might need to change to a one piece mount.

Find the open sights accurate and no problem to adjust.

Easier to cock than my TX200HC.

All in all its a good rifle for the money.

Why be awkward, when with a little bit of effort you can be really impossible!
