I know but it was special. Mad innit how a couple of fields can be so enchanting, I kind of felt like I was intruding yet at the same time felt privelidged if you know what I mean ? And then, Mick just makes like you feel so at home.

Had a mad thought the other day while on holiday in Scotland.
I'd like to shoot down at the Hollow with a couple of inches of fresh snow over the grass !
It would be really interesting to see the pellet strikes bouncing off the snow around the various targets and out to the Q Bucket !

What a lovely thought John, I can imagine that too albeit it my pellets would fall some distance away from The Bucket but at least we could see how far off we were.

Mick: January Bash ??? I reckon Bongo would appreciate the company

I'm planning to take this Friday off work and get over to my little farm permission to bag a few crows and magpies for the owner. Will be the first outing for that camo netting (draped over my hide) that I got from you matey

If possible, put it up the day before and providing your shoot is very private and well away for prying eyes, and leave it.
You may find that to weave other bits of vegetation within the mesh a big advantage which helps to break up the outline.
Make sure no light shines through from back to front as that will silhouette your outline !
    Good luck !
