    Plan A methinks, Mick.

Bits of aircraft engine, connectors, maybe some train cable connectors. All depends what ends up in the scrap bin that has either been scrapped during production or returned from customers

Maybe some military comms stuff that has seen better days, and sometimes it's really boring and there's nothing exciting in there

If you've got room in the Rover and don't mind packing another rifle for the journey Mick, maybe you could bring it along to the next Bash if your thinking of coming along

Firebird exploding targets taped to a little plastic bottle of unleaded is the way forward

Sounds good that does I remember you used to be able to buy little rubbery bottles that contained lighter fluid, snip the end off and it was enough to fill a Zippo. I wonder if you can still get them ??

Will it be easy to tame down, Mick?

What type of valve does it employ? A "dump it all" blow off arrangement? (Ooo-er, sounds a little rude, does that). Or hammer and knock open?

Very easy to adjust, Tone, I just need to shorten the pump rod to reduce the pressure.

The valving is just a simple knock open valve employing the same hammer and trigger unit as the multipump Mohawk.
In fact the single stroke and multipump Mohawks share many components --- a very clever design policy from Mr Bowkett.

The action came fitted with a Falcon breech and barrel and has an issue in that the angle the bolt has to revolve through is too great for the gun.
Adjusted one way the bolt hits the cocking lever, adjusted the other way the bolt fouls the scope, so I'm going to alter the angle needed by a little welding to the track in the bolt.
