Good old Bremby, dogs just know don't they. My old Boxer dog Cassie would jump into my lap in the armchair every night and when I got the Snip (over 20 years ago) I was crapping it for a few days as she would normally just leap up in a split second. For a week after she just came in and sat at my feet until the day I beckoned her up onto my lap again
If your back condition is muscular Tone, alcohol may help as its a muscle relaxant but if its skeletal or nerve related, it won't help and as you say, you don't really want to wake up and go to work with a bad back and a thumping headache. Having suffered a prolapsed disc myself - I truly feel for you matey.

Yep, our little doggies are certainly special friends and seem to possess an almost telepathic sense of what's happening around them.

Bet you still miss Cassie, matey.

As to the back condition.....if you cast your mind back a couple of years ago, I suffered with lower back pain and sciatica down both legs. It started in April. Every morning from getting up it was horrendous. Then, at about 11am ish, it'd disappear. And return every night around 8 ish. Saw the quack. Had an MRI which revealed four "degenerated" discs, one of which was prolapsed and trapping / interfering with the sciatic nerve.
This lasted until MotoGP in late August....I remember it well as, on the Sunday when we take the stand down we were lugging all the heavy stuff about. Back was killing like mad and I thought, "boy, are you going to pay for this!".

Woke up next morning....pain totally gone and no sciatica.....just in time for the September Bash!!

When I saw the specialistbin the November i don't think he believed me when I said all the pain had gone and set an appointment for last March. Same again; no pain! But he said that, with the discs being knackered that he'd leave it as an open appointment and that whenever I got any pain I was to go straight to A&E. Sod that!

Anyways, so I guess it's down to the knackered discs. Pain is all around lower back, right through hips and around the front. But I ain't going to A&E....not yet, anyway!

So, from what you've said, Pauly, maybe give the JD a miss, then? The reason I thought I may give it a try is that it's my day off tomorrow, but could still do without the thick head.

    Anyway.....sod all that!

    And on with The Boings!!!!

Crown is new and shiny and my breech is sealed I dismounted it and added double strapped rings. I changed the scope to a new Nikko as the old one had a damaged bell-end

I say! You told me yourself: "That a well contoured crown, concentric with a tight and exquisitely parallel breech, were essential to achieve optimum trajectory." AND, you said you really wanted to improve your singing voice!

    Hi Tony
I have knackered discs in my neck. The only pain relief that is effective when it's 100percent awful , is acupuncture.
When its just really sore a tens machine will help. Loyds chemist sell them

    Hi Pete,

    Cheers for that.

Yes, I also have a dodgy neck and pain radiating down my arms and numb hands. From my accident in 2013. Physio and loads of other things failed. Chinese accupuncture (arranged through the NHS but through a pain management team) was superb. I had six treatments, no pain after three. Pain stayed away completely for about 8 months.

Had the "Westernised" version just over a year ago - didn't work.

The chap that treated me with the Chinese version also practices privately, but it's about a 80 miles round trip and money is a bit tight at the mo'.
