Mate of mine had that, it can be corrected by castration!

    Not you as well, Dave!

    Sorry to hear this mate.

I'm obviously not a doc, but I think an MRI will reveal far more than an X-Ray, matey. See if they can look into one for you.

Do you often feel like someone's belted you on the funny bone? And punched in your tricep?

    None of this is nice.

As Pete had mentioned further up, Accupuncture worked for me with the neck pain and that pain / numbness radiating down the arms and into fingers. Physio at our place was a waste of time and really didn't seem to want to know. The traditional Chinese accupuncture worked brilliantly for me, the pain disappeared totally for about 8 months or so. Gradually eased back after that, though. Western accupuncture wouldn't touch it for me.

Cures and what works seems to differ for different people.

Hope you get sorted, matey, as it really isn't nice and we want our resident Quigley Hollow Love God back on top of his game.

    All the best matey.

As castration isn't normally available on the NHS could Dr Tinbum operate on Trumpetier at the bash?
I am sure people will not mind making room on the bench. The Cleary clan can supply anaesthetic.
    Hope this helps Dave

I agree Tone an Mri is the better choice, but I guess they have to go through the motions
I get a numbness /bad ache on the joint on the inside of my forearm. This then turns to pins and needles in my forearm and fingers, sometimes the whole arm.

Blimey, thanks Mick! To be honest I was happy to leave my £20 in the pot as I'd had to cancel at short notice, so I'm prepared to chip in again if it'll help.

Have all Boinger folk got bad backs?

Mine's got steadily worse over the last 8+ years now. 2x MRI's, loads of different treatments (inc. facet joint injections- ouch!) have all failed and it's been diagnosed as degenerative disc disease with a couple prolapsed in the lumbar. Sometimes I have good days where you'd think "there's nowt bloody wrong with him" but many others where I need a stick and walk like a 95yr old. Unfortunately the surgeon doesn't want to operate, as I still have feeling in my legs and control of bodily functions!

A doc put me on Tramadol t'other week and I subsequently spent 4 days high as a kite before telling the Mrs I'd had enough and stopped taking it. I promptly went 'cold turkey' with sweats, shivers, nausea, blurred vision and 'restless skin' meaning 48 hours without sleep. It took as many days to come down off it as I'd been on it; bloody awful stuff!

So your usual "smack it with a shoe " technique won't be used?
A precision strike with a 6lb club hammer?
