    .20 sub 12ft lb users

I have just acquired a mint Rapid MK2 in .20 and am experimenting with FTT and JSB exacts.

It seems to like both pellets, so I'm looking for feedback from people who have used both, the obvious difference is the pellet weight, c 2 grains difference.

Coming from .177 you might be happier with the FTT I guess but I always fed my HW100 (.177) on Exact Heavies which are only 1 grain lighter than the .20 FTT.

I'm not into Chairgun, so are there any .20 users that have used both these pellets extensively and can offer some feedback on trajectory, BC etc?

    Thank you!

H&N F&TT's were always good in .22 cal. in my Sub 12 R7's BUT in my HW 80 (OK, not a Rapid) the .20 JSB Exacts reigned supreme !

Zeroed the FTT at 32 yards and at 37 yards I'm somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 mildot higher (pellet drop) with the FTT and 1 mildot higher (again pellet drop to clarify) at 37 yards with the Exacts.

Weirdly, shooting down from a platform to a ground target at 23 yards the FTT are 3/4 mildot lower (pellet shooting high) and the Exacts are bang on the crosshairs!

Both are good but ftt really hit hard, jsb are better at higher power.

In my MFR .20 they are both equally accurate but I use FTT for the better trajectory (& they're cheaper) 34yd zero, pbr 9yds-38yds, bc 0.0250,
    JSB 31yd zero, pbr 8.5yds-35yds, bc0.300.

    hn

hi, h+n were spot on rapid mk 1 +2 .hardly any hold under/over with a 30/30 ret to bother about at sub 12 ranges. was satisfied with them so never looked for anything different. at that time there was only bisley and crossmans available . atb gc..

hi, with my fac pcp and 18" barrel I found the grouping opened up at 27+. with a bit of testing my set up ran best around 24 /26, the lower gave me a few more shots and was very constant on the fps.. atb gc..

    FTT for me too.
I also find that the JSB Heavy 13.7 grain are usually OK too in legal limit. However even if they are as accurate I pick the FTT because as they are lighter they fly flatter for longer. They are also cheaper to buy. Clearly if they are more accurate I would use the JSB.
