What a nice St Georges Day shoot. The bluebells were out in force, despite Colin managing to shoot one, so the woods looked stunning. That is until Dave “Hover Mower” Powel decided to start trimming the branches with his drone. Keep an eye on our website for a link to the videos. From what we saw on the replay some of the shots throw a whole new perspective on HFT images. We did however have to promise big time not to shoot the drone (tempting).
For the actual shoot there were a fair few interesting shots as we mixed up the course again. Rob was top shot on the day with a very decent 56 and massive and I do mean massive, congratulations to young Matt Linbourne for a cracking 54. Not bad at all for a junior who only took the sport up a couple of months ago. And that was despite three old geezers standing behind him muttering and generally putting him off his shot. Still killed it though so good on him.
Any way on to the scores.

Rob Smith 56
Terry Evans 55
Mat Linbourne (J) 54
Duane Saunders 52
Peter Fenn 50
Simon Humphries 49
Steve West 49
Colin Muggeridge 47
Hayley Linbourne 43
Jason Linbourne 42

And Dave Powel on Camera 0 minus the odd branch or two

For the 60 point challenge yet again every single target was killed on the day but obviously not by the same person. This means that the pot will roll over to our next shoot and start at £25.
