3d printing sharp innova front end?

I was going to lathe and weld up a swanky front end for my innova thats missing the plastic part and I was in maplin the other day and they had some 3d printed toys and it got me thinking could this be done on on of those machines? I have no idea how to go about it so it it worth even trying to get it done?

You have to get some CAD design software which is then read by your 3D printer, it's not simple or easy. My son has one and it's a right pain in the ass.
