Hw77/80 spring guide

Anyone know if a spring guide from a hw77 will work in a hw80, The one in this hw80 I have here has a nylon guide with steel washer on it, Run out of time at moment but it's a little rough when cocking, Not much room between the guide washer and the cylinder , Will try without spring when I get time to make sure cocking shoe and piston flowing freely, The main spring has been cut and i was going to order another but it's shooting 11.4 or there abouts with max 6ftps variance over 14 shots.

Physically it will fit, but its unlikely to fit the spring. Check and adapt as necessary.

Thanks for the reply, If it's that which is causing a contact somewhere I may take a little off it, Hopefully have a look tomorrow, But thanks again for the reply.
