    How do you people find the best way to do it with a rifle with a threaded end cap i.e. HW80

    Remember trying to do a FAC HW80 and trying to get the spring in was a right PITA, especially since I haven't got much weight to put behind it!

    So far I have just used a piece of smooth wood between the end cap and the cramp. The other day I ordered a thrust bearing via the bay - this and piece of rubber on each side will let me turn the end cap with a lot less force.
