    Ukcaf

Tried to log onto the site and it's down as unavailable. I guess this is the proposed move taking place? I'm afraid I'm not up to speed as my email account for UKCAF reg' is no longer available to my computer (read to low tech' to resolve an issue). Is there a link for the new one?

    Hi Mark

Hopefully one of the admin from the UKCAF will see this thread and let us know what's happening.

The transfer is in progress, new address is http://www.ukchineseairgunforum.org.uk

I just logged in - things seems to be up and running, but according to admin Gerry there is still some ironing to do.

Thank you vestlenning, I'm back on now.

And I've just found two important old PMs I'd missed.

As said, the forum is on the move - hopefully fully up & running by tomorrow morning - but at the moment, we've a small 'glitch', in that the password file has been corrupted, meaning that members will have to use the 'password reset' button, (which relies on the email address being correct to get their new password sent through).
While the admins can change members passwords, we don't really relish the prospect of doing it for the whole 1,000+ members - the odd one or two, we can manage.

It's probably best if I reply vestlenning, seeing as I'm hosting the UKCAF Oddballs meeting.

Thanks Mick, as said in my pm, that forum is 'fairy gold' & will disappear, so anything posted on there will be lost, I'd not advise anybody to post anything important to it, just use it as a resource to check stuff.

    That's a shame Gerry.

As per my PM, You know you're more than welcome to keep us updated and redirected via this thread while the changeover takes place.

Unfortunately I can't get on, Gerry.

I punched in my username and correct password and got "incorrect password".

And I'm now on a different email to when I joined so the system won't send me an email to my new account.

I'm afraid I'm the same . I suppose the easiest option is to rejoin - it'll save the admin's time.

I still can't get on either, Mark.

Perhaps it would be easiest for Gerry to delete our accounts so we could rejoin with the same usernames ?

I think this is how they worked it when the AirArms owners club was moved.
