Ive always wanted to own one.
Ive shot several and have always been impressed with them.
At one time they did a carbine version under 14 inches IIRC thats the one I wanted.
Not sure if they make this option anymore.
Just picked mine up (second hand) just wondered if anyone else has one and if they are as good as everyone says they are?

It was my first FT rifle. Very accurate and a good build quality but really getting quite dated now and most are not being shot competitively.

I have one, and an AR4 Cougar (v. short action) Still competitive in the right hands - i.e., not mine! Lovely bolt action, really consistent when the reg is behaving and built to deal with the British weather!
Triger is a bit crude, but predictable. Best advise is set it, then learn to use it and don't fiddle. Get it serviced at Ripley by Steve, or by John Ostler and it will behave.

Had 2 both well sorted rifles with no issues. Both superb. Both in Paul Wilson FT stock's. Both sold.
Doh!!!
Never go off half cocked....
All lies matter
I have one recently bought from this forum and love it ,wanted one for years ,the action is stainless steel and the Paul Wilson stock is gorgeous ,out shoots me every time !!

"DON'T EVER SHOOT A 17 HMR. What ever you thought you knew about 22 rim fires, and loved about them, will be lost forever. It's like dumping your wife for Miss America."
Always wanted one until I shot one. Superbly quick and crisp to shoot but the trigger is terrible in comparison to its rivals.
