    Ahem.

    Diana 24/25D/26/27/27S/28/240.

There is an alternative to the 30 (though, tbh, the older ones are probably better than the new ones).

But something like a 25D, 27 or 27S is definitely in the same niche.

I recently shot one down at the club and it was a really nice gun to shoot, was even tempted to get one for my lad, but this plastic monstrosity looks like if fell out the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. It takes all sorts but this one is not for me

I have a few HW30's and also a Diana 27. The Diana is unfettled, but shoots just as nicely (it can twang a bit depending upon pellet choice) and is the same proportions. I did toy with the idea of fettling the 27, but it's still all original and in pristine condition, I stalled on the modifications.

Having had time to consider this I could be tempted if it were appreciably cheaper than the wood stocked version. Any hint of an RRP yet?

I would expect it to be the same sort of price.

I don't think good quality synthetic stocks are any cheaper to produce than wooden ones.

Quick google search and it looks like this one is now available.

    Has anyone got one yet?

    Brian?
