    Just received a reply below:

Hi I have just given Hull cartridge co a call and they advise that they hope that the Hw30s synthetic was launched in March at the IWA trade show and that it will be available to buy in around 2-3 months time, no indication of price at present.

Looks like we should be seeing them hit uk gunshops soon
Thanks for doing this, I was going to do the same but you beat me to it !

Can't see the price being too much more than the current 30S cost.
Anyone see one in the (synthetic) flesh yet ?

    No worries

I'm in the market for possibly another HW30 but am hanging fire until I've at least seen and handled the synthetic version in the flesh.

I'm 50/50 on it from the pics and it's not quite floating my boat but until I see it with Mk1 eyeballs I'm seriously considering it.

I've asked on the northern shooting show thread if anyone had seen it on the Weihrauch stand as I heard a rumour it was there but no confirmation yet.

Ah, to resist is futile, young Grasshopper!

After all, this lovely little gem has already cast her magic spell on you.....the only question now is, "beech or synthetic?"

PS.....One of the nice peeps at the last Boinger Bash had a little 30 with him to which he had fitted one of your lovely 3D printed butt plates. Lovely.

    Ahem.

    Diana 24/25D/26/27/27S/28/240.

There is an alternative to the 30 (though, tbh, the older ones are probably better than the new ones).

But something like a 25D, 27 or 27S is definitely in the same niche.

I recently shot one down at the club and it was a really nice gun to shoot, was even tempted to get one for my lad, but this plastic monstrosity looks like if fell out the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. It takes all sorts but this one is not for me

I have a few HW30's and also a Diana 27. The Diana is unfettled, but shoots just as nicely (it can twang a bit depending upon pellet choice) and is the same proportions. I did toy with the idea of fettling the 27, but it's still all original and in pristine condition, I stalled on the modifications.

Having had time to consider this I could be tempted if it were appreciably cheaper than the wood stocked version. Any hint of an RRP yet?

I would expect it to be the same sort of price.

I don't think good quality synthetic stocks are any cheaper to produce than wooden ones.

Quick google search and it looks like this one is now available.

    Has anyone got one yet?
