    Can anyone help

I been using a Webley Omega .22 for popping the pigeons in the warehouse where I work as it was becoming a Health an safety issue but at sometime the stock has been snapped clean in half.now I've been told these are Turkish guns made up of bits, does anyone have any idea how much these are worth cos I was wondering if it's worth looking round for a second hand stock.

The Webley Omega was only ever produced in Birmingham. It was some of the later models of Webley rifles (e.g. Longbow) that became Turkish delights.

Ive got a s/h stock for sale for an Omega. (Never miss an opportunity. ) http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread....ighlight=Omega

I didn't think the Turks made Omegas, as they were produced while Webley were in England. I know several people with Omegas, and they love 'em to bits.

P.S. I.J. obviously types quickest . Nice one.

There was talk some while ago in the shooting press (possibly airgunner or airgun world) of the Omega being re-launched, from memory about 3 years back so would have been Turkish. It was only about a column inch, no photos, and I don't think I saw anything subsequently. Maybe the likes of troubledshooter can shed some more light.
I assume yours has a stamped 6-digit serial number, probably starting with the number 7 or 8? If it's in decent enough condition (ie stock ok...) £120-£150. If un-repairable, second hand woodwork does appear on that auction site for the Omega every now and again.
