    Comets Fenix 400

Great gun, I bought my youngest lad one when they first were launched I'd guess some 15+ years ago. It appealed due to its simmilarity to the FWB Sport, it does need some fettling to keep it shooting sweet under the 12, but well worth it. I cant really fault it only thing to watch is the piston sear tang where it joins the main body of the piston, it cracks due to the resonance of the firing cycle nothing too terminal if caught in time, mebbe Cometa have fixed it now?, though it can be repaired with a bit of welding.

    Enjoy

Or it was a dodgy one off -
Spares are all cheap as chips anyway - a whole trigger block is £35 quid from Chambers !

Yes, Dave Mercer, certainly knows his stuff.

Plus he is a very pleasant man to deal with, and his prices are good.
