Hope you don't mind me asking but, why do you use a filler.?? I have a stainless in 44 flavour and use 16grns of b/p with a .010" patched .433" ball, iv never
thought about using a filler but quite happy to give it a go if it has purpose. Tim

hi tim, i use it to stop any air between bp an patch or any lube wetting the bp ,
i also use in revolvers to instead of wads ,help the ball to the top, prob help cleaning the fouling out too,

Yes i too use it in my revolvers but had never thought of using it in the LePage. I can see if using a wet lube on the patches then
a barrier would be good between powder and patch. Tim
interesting vid

He can definitely shoot.!! Mine is the same finish but in .44. I bought it about 10 years ago as an unseen used gun and although it
has a tiny bit of external surface pitting on the barrel and few marks on the fore end where the wedge comes out to remove the barrel
it remains my most accurate gun. The price was right for its condition and i wouldn't sell it for double what i payed. The trigger is a
joy to use and everyone who try's it comments how nice it is.
yeah i like mine too, better than my revolvers ah well

Hi
Just brought myself a Pedesoli Le Page .44 in maple from Henry Kranks yesterday.
Does not come with any suggested loading data info in the box.
On Pedersoli's website it says to use between 18 & 30 gns of Black Powder.
Also brought some of Kranks Fine Black Powder and some 435 balls & 10 thou. lubed patches.
I see you are using 18gns with yours & 15 gns of semolina.
What Make of powder are you using & what results are you getting.
Will shoot mine for first time tomorrow from 15 or 20 yards.
Is it worth using semolina to pack the charge out Kranks said I didnt need to, just powder Lubed patch & ball.
I have read online that the semolina helps seat the ball better & helps clean some of the fouling in the barrel.
Anyone have an issue with the trigger screw undoing itself over time when shooting?
Finally is it best to remove the barrel every time to clean it, does the wedge knock out easily?

The shooter, Balász Németh, is the Hungarian national #1 BP pistol shooter, and runs a BP-specialist store in Budapest - see his website. They are THE main Pedersoli source in Eastern Europe, and are FAR better at getting parts than anybody else I've ever dealt with, even the well-known dealership in Yorkshire, as Mr Németh represents Pedersoli in shooting sports at the international level, up to the level of actually organising the 2016 MLAIC championships in Hungary last year - see Youtube again.
