    Designated "bags"

I have mates who have dozens of air rifles in their collections and I have often seen them hunting for a particular rifle stored in a pile of bags. Had this example of a bag come in the other day and wondered if any members have similar bags and have even put the model number of the rifle on the bag ?

With my own rifles and those club guns that I keep here I have 14 rifles stored in their bags or cases. It's not so many that I can't remember which rifle is in which bag, as - deliberately - the bags are all different.

I do hit a problem if a club member puts rifles back into the wrong bags, though.

I made the mistake of buying a bunch of similar gunbags, so I do have to check before I pack off to the range. As I now have more rifles than bags I may buy a few more and label them all. The bulk of my collection is airpistols so it's not all that much of a faff, but now that they are all organised I may as well get the rifles into some kind of order too.

I have several guns, but only 3 bags, as has been said before, I only use the bag for transport and there's hardly any point bringing more than 3 guns to range or field at a time...

only remember using the griffin once. so dont matter where that is.

When I first went to a large American gun shop it blew my mind that they had a full section dedicated to these size safes.

    And quite a selection.

I actually thought you meant you had 400 guns!

But yes I am the same with things having their own place! Both my guns are in identical bags but I know which one is which.

Unfortunately it means everything has to be tidy. My car, my backpack, my shed, my loft.... but I could find a specific item with my eyes closed!
